Elusive FD-18 Bo Diddley Handbill
Known as the “Voice of Music,” this poster also featured the unauthorized use of a company logo by Mouse and Kelley. The central image is the RCA Victor dog listening to an old Victrola record player. The only thing missing is the RCA Victor slogan: “His Master’s Voice!” The lettering on the poster was drawn in such a manner that it appears to be coming from the horn of the Victrola. FD-18 handbills come in different types; this is known as FD-18-OHB-A in Eric King’s guide.
Medium: A Buyers Premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price of all lots.
