Elvis Presley Gold-Tone Cross Pendant Given to Linda Thompson's Mother W/(3) LOAs - This large openwork gold-tone cross pendant was given by Elvis Presley to longtime girlfriend Linda Thompson's mother in the mid-1970s. The pendant comes with a notarized affidavit of Aron Hulsey which states in part, "In the 1970s my mother, Joyce Biddie followed Elvis Presley extensively across the United States as he toured the country in concert...She got to know Elvis' girlfriend, Linda Thompson, as well as her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Thompson. After Elvis passed away in 1977, my mother obtained several items from the Thompsons that Elvis personally gave to them over the years. This gold cross necklace was a gift from Elvis to Mrs. Thompson in the mid-1970s." The necklace will also come with a copy of an email between Sam Thompson (Linda Thompson's brother and Elvis' friend) and Bud Glass which states in part, "Joyce Biddy was a friend of my late mother and yes, I recognize the cross as the one that Elvis gave either Linda (who gave it to my mother) or directly to my mother...can't remember which..." The piece will also come with a letter of affirmation from a collector who acquired the piece from Bud Glass, and a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated. Measurements: cross-3.25" x 2.50", chain-50" length (according to the letter from Graceland the chain was added later).
