[ translate ]

Elvis Presley Doctor-Dr. Hunt's Medical Tools and Ledger Book in Museum Quality Framed Display W/COA From Jimmy Velvet and Letter From Sarah Hunt - These medical instruments and ledger belonged to Dr. Hunt of Tupelo, Mississippi, the Obstetrician who delivered Elvis Presley along with his stillborn twin brother on January 8th, 1935. The tools have been framed in a museum quality shadow box display which includes a scalpel, scissors, ledger book, glass name plate, and other medical devices along with a photo of Gladys, Vernon, and Elvis Presley. Dr. Hunt passed away in 1952, never realizing he delivered the baby who would become the world's biggest entertainer. These items were acquired directly from the Hunt family by Jimmy Velvet, who created the Elvis Presley Museum, the only museum in the world which is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland, four years before Graceland opened its doors to the public. Velvet owned and was President of the museum, and amassed the largest authentic collection of artifacts owned by Elvis Presley in the world. The tools will come with a copy of an original letter of provenance from Dr. Hunt's daughter, from whom Jimmy Velvet acquired Dr. Hunt's items. The lot will also include a certificate of authenticity from Jimmy Velvet.
