Elvis and Linda Thompson dated from July 1972 to December 1976, and Elvis dated Thompson longer than anyone else in his lifetime aside from Priscilla Presley. This necklace comes with a letter of provenance from Jimmy Velvet to a collector which states, "This is to certify that this is the same Peacock Necklace that I bought from Mrs. Thompson in 1979. It was given to her daughter, Linda Thompson. It was given to Linda by Elvis Presley." The necklace also comes with a second letter from the collector who acquired it from the gentleman who was the son of the woman received the piece from Jimmy Velvet. Measurements: 22" length.
