Elvis Presley Signed 1973 Check to Bill Williams Capon Charity Dinner W/Event Materials and Letter From Col. Parker's Office - This check is hand written and dated October 10, 1973, and was written in the amount of $250 for a charitable donation to the Bill Williams Capon Charity Dinner. The check from Elvis' National Bank of Commerce Memphis, Tennessee bank account is signed "E.A. Presley" and stamped "Processed" on the front. The check comes with a brochure from the Bill Williams 34th Annual Capon Charity Dinner on October 23, 1973, a fillable reservation card for the purchase of tickets, and a copy of the typeset letter on MGM letterhead from Ed Bonja that was sent from Colonel Tom Parker's office along with the check. The letter states, "Dear Mr. Williams: Enclosed is the check for $250.00 that Colonel Parker promised you would receive. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this check when it arrives. This check is for the Bill Williams Capon Charity Dinner, October 23, 1973. With all best wishes. Sincerely, Ed Bonja / Colonel Parker's Office." This lot was previously sold in the Graceland Auction in January, 2016 and comes with the Graceland COA. Measurements: check-2.75" x 6", response card-3" x 5", brochure-9" x 3.75".
