Elvis Presley's Personally Owned and Worn Solid 14K Yellow Gold Diamond Accented Swatting Lion Ring W/Notarized Statement and Letter From Priscilla Presley (Matching W/Priscilla) - This substantial ring is crafted of solid 14k yellow gold and is designed with a high relief lion resting on top of a barked gold band, swatting at a 0.10ct diamond accent. This ring comes with a letter from Priscilla Presley, who recalls this piece as she has a matching version. Elvis enjoyed this ring for a time before he eventually gave it to a drummer who went by the name of Tommy. The ring comes with a notarized affidavit from a collector, who obtained the ring from a gentleman named Mike Azzarella who got the piece from the drummer. The statement details the story he was given by Azzarella, who owned a jewelry and pawn shop in the Palm Springs area that Tommy would frequent. According to the statement, "Tommy used to come into Azzarella's (Jewelry/Pawn-Shop) and always was interested in gold nugget jewelry and quite frequently talked about his days drumming for Elvis. Tommy was given the nickname 'Nugget Tommy' and traded the ring for a nugget bracelet that he was interested in. According to Tommy, after a practice, Elvis gave the ring to him stating that he was one of the best drummers that he has ever had." Ring size: 10.
