Elvis Presley's 1976 Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide

Elvis Presley's 1976 Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide W/Letter From Priscilla Presley (Elvis's Last Motorcycle) - This was Elvis Presley's last motorcycle he ever purchased, which was purchased on August 11, 1976. After purchasing a Harley Davidson Sportster 1000 as a gift, Elvis purchased this customized full dress Harley for himself. The motorcycle shows very low, original miles and has retained all of its originality as when it was purchased by Elvis. Elvis eventually had the motorcycle delivered to Graceland and it was later sold to a local Harley Davidson dealership. Elvis often gave away his favorite "toys" after a short time of enjoyment, substantiating his lifelong charitable nature. This is a substantial piece of Elvis history and this bike was previously on display at the Murdo, SD Pioneer Auto Museum for over 30 years. The bike is still titled and registered in Elvis' name and this bike has an amazing story behind it. The auction house has a video of the motorcycle running (available upon request) and we have published a gallery of photos. The motorcycle has been housed in a glass museum quality display for its entire stay at the museum and guests have never been allowed to touch it. The winning bidder will also receive a letter from Priscilla Presley. Due to the amount of global press this artifact has already received, we would be willing to assist in a post auction PR campaign for the winning bidder if they so choose as we expect that the sale of this piece will be a worldwide story. For more information, questions or photos please email Brigitte@gwsauctions.com. Please note: This item is located in Illinois and shipping will be at the expense of the buyer. The auction will help facilitate shipping arrangements, if necessary.
