Elvis Presley's Corum 1892 $20 Gold Coin and 18K Yellow Gold Watch Gifted to Col. Parker W/Letter From Priscilla Presley - This Corum wristwatch was first owned and worn by Elvis Presley before he gifted it to Colonel Tom Parker. The watch is made of solid 18k yellow gold and has an 1892 U.S $20 gold coin serving as the dial and case back. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. According to Priscilla "Elvis loved big gold coins and watches, and this was one of his favorite timepieces." The watch was found wrapped in an envelope from Colonel Parker's estate, which is included with the piece. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. According to Priscilla's recollection, "Elvis loved this style of watch and he truly enjoyed collecting watches. Elvis loved this watch because the coin is on the dial and also on the back. This was a rare style for the time." This watch is powered by a manually-wound movement and is working. Measurements: case-34.5mm diameter, length-8.5". Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 127.8 grams)
