Elvis Presley's Personally Owned Star Sapphire, 10K Yellow Gold, Diamond and Platinum Ring Given to Mike Cage W/(2) LOAs - This ring was personally owned and worn by Elvis Presley in the late 1960s. The ring is crafted of solid 10k yellow gold with a 12mm blue star sapphire, nugget style details on the shoulders, and diamond accents set in platinum. The ring comes with a letter of provenance from Mike Cage, who was a friend of Memphis Mafia member Charlie Hodge. The letter states in part, "I Mike Cage was a friend of Charlie Hodge who was also a close friend of Elvis and worked with him. I was invited to Elvis' Beverly Hills home in 1969 one evening. We were all outside in the backyard when Elvis decided to throw me in the pool with all my clothes on, it was a very cool night...As I was leaving that evening, Elvis came up to me and said it was all in fun and handed me this beautiful ring that he removed off his finger." The letter also details the sweet story of how Elvis' wife Priscilla was watching and gave Cage some of Elvis' clothes, with Elvis arguing, "Those are my clothes" and Priscilla responding, "You have enough in your closet."
