[ translate ]

Elvis Presley's 4.50ctw Black Star Sapphire and 14K Barked Yellow Gold Cufflinks Gifted to Col. Parker W/Letter From Priscilla Presley - These cufflinks were owned by Elvis Presley and have a barked gold design made of solid 14k yellow gold with 2.25ct (approximate) black star sapphire cabochons. Elvis eventually gave these cufflinks to Colonel Tom Parker, as he often gave his jewelry and other personal items to those closest to him. Elvis and the Colonel were particularly fond of black star sapphires, and Elvis often used them in his own jewelry pieces as he appreciated their mysterious beauty and believed they had healing powers due to the shifting star in the gemstones under various lights. This piece was acquired from the Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker, which was thought to have been lost for decades. This item, as with the entire Lost Jewelry Collection, has never been offered at auction or to the public. The piece will come with a letter from Ms. Priscilla Presley who has served as an expert consultant on this collection. Measurements: front piece-0.80" x 0.75", length-0.75". Please note: The auction house has a financial interest in this lot. Announcements, descriptions, and disclosures can change up until the time the bidding ends on the item. (WEIGHT: 19.7 grams)
