[ translate ]

Elvis Presley's Sterling Silver TCB Pendant Test Pour Made by Schwartz and Ableser W/COA and Letter From Priscilla Presley - This piece is the original prototype for the TCB pendant, which would go on to become one of the most famous pieces of rock and roll jewelry. Elvis and Priscilla designed what would become the iconic TCB logo while on a flying through a storm on the way to a concert and they saw lightning outside of the plane's window. Elvis and Priscilla commissioned Beverly Hills jewelers Schwartz and Ableser to create necklaces with the logo for all of the members of Elvis' entourage, the Memphis Mafia, and later the TLC pendants for the important women in his life. This is the first test pouring of the TCB pendant made by Schwartz and Ableser, and the only test pour of a TCB pendant known to exist. The pendant is made of sterling silver and was sent to Elvis and Priscilla Presley for approval before creating the final 14k gold versions. This prototype later ended up in the hands of Memphis Mafia guy James Caughley, who was known as "Hamburger James" and was mostly in charge of going on runs for hamburgers or other things that Elvis wanted, whenever he wanted them. The pendant was acquired from Caughley by well-known Elvis collector Robin Rosaaen. Robin Rosaaen founded "All The King's Things" and was once known to have one of the top private Elvis collections in the world. Rosaaen's collection spanned every era of Elvis' life and she even directed her passion into managing Ebay's special section of Presley collectibles in the 1990s, where she grew the "King's Things" site to over 5000 pages. This pendant comes with a certificate of authenticity from Robin Rosaaen. The piece will also come with a letter from Priscilla Presley. Measurements: 1.75" x 0.75"
