Elwin Hawthorne, British 1905–1954 - Blackheath; watercolour and pencil on paper, signed and titled along lower edge 'E. Hawthorn Blackheath', 16.9 x 24.5 cm (ARR) Note: the artist exhibited with the East London Group at the Lefevre Gallery alongside his uncle Henry Silk. He had solo exhibitions at the gallery and worked as an assistant to Walter Sickert.
