Large, antique embroidery in silk on a wooden frame. China or Vietnam, late 19th century/early 20th century. Grisaille decoration depicting two dragons. Fines shades of grey, light pink on an ivory background. Crafted by hand. Dimensions: 100 cm x 78 cm Rare and old specimen, close to the pieces in A. R. Truong collections, Paris. Comparable sales at Drouot, also Proantic. In very good condition overall. Some small bits of embroidery missing here and there (antique item) . Light tears in some corners (on the side of the frame) . This item has been appraised and validated by Expertissim for the designated period. From my personal collection.
