Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904) Acid-Etched and Fire-Polished Cameo Glass Vase with Silver Plate Base, circa 1900, signed "Cristallerie Galle" and incised "Modele et Decor Depose" to underside, of cylindrical form in opalescent clear to pale green ground with areas of sienna further overlaid with sienna cut with Tiger Lily flowers, the fitted reticulated base with butterfly and similar floral design, struck with French assay hallmarks. Vessel: 8" H x 2.25" Diameter; base: 3" H x 3.25" Diameter. Provenance: From a Rye, N.Y. Collection.
