Vase, EMILE GALLÉ (1846 - 1904) , Nancy Height approx. 25 cm, diameter approx. 9 - 11. 2 cm Over retracted stand ring, drop-shaped, slightly "squeezed" body with funnel mouth. Mould-blown clear glass, white on the inside (middle of the vessel) and burgundy (foot and neck) , on the outside with amber and light brown overlay. Motif of grapes and vine leaves etched in 2 work steps ("Raisin", H. Hilschenz- Mlynek / H. Ricke, Glas - Historismus, Jugendstil. Art Déco, Prestel, Munich, 1985; page 219, with the reproduction of the sample drawing from 1899) Highly etched lettering: Gallé Condition: enclosed air bubble in the glass (muzzle) , slight rubbing marks on the wall Made around 1905 - 1914
