From 1911 to 1938, Friesz travelled successively to Portugal, Belgium, Italy, and the United States. His works are in the collections of the Musée d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, etc. He died in Paris in 1949. ------------------------------------------ Oil on canvas, 'Naked Woman', EMILE OTHON FRIESZ, 1930 Henri (Emile Othon) Friesz was born in Le Havre in 1879.
