Emilio Alvarez Moya (1899-1972) - Beduinos
ALVAREZ MOYA, Emilio – Granada, mid 19th century --He specialized in landscape subject-matters, specially the traditionalist and orientalist type where characters appear while they make the most varied daily chores, the buildings of that period, surrounded by orchards and fields of work. Sometimes, the artist signed his works by reversing the order of the letters of his second surname, or simply by changing it. Thus we can find signatures such as Moya, Ayón, Ayom, Allom and Álvarez. His artistic production was very fruitful, so some of his works are in multiple private collections and galleries.
