Emilio Pasini (Brescia, 1872 - 1953) , Ritratto di donna, charcoal on paper, size: 40 x 53 cm, signed on bottom right. Offered without reserve price. Emilio Pasini is one of the most important figures in the Brescia art scene of the last years of the nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century. Raised with a solid technical training and on the models of traditional academic painting of the nineteenth century, he always retained a great stylistic quality, but opening up to the modernity of the nineteenth-century avant-garde. This painting is an intense and familiar portrait, in which the artist seeks an inner dialogue with the protagonist portrayed. Artwork in good condition.
