Etching signed and dated by the master in pencil, “Vedova 83”. As per stamp, the work was made by: AS of Albicocco and Santini, UDINE. Emilio Vedova was born in Venice in 1919. He began to intensively work as a self-taught artist from the 1930s. When he was very young, in 1942, he joined the anti-modernism movement “Corrente”. He was one of the founders of “Nuova Secessione Italiana”, then “Fronte Nuovo delle Arti”, in Venice (1 October 1946) .
