Weite Winterlandschaft mit einer Figur an einem Bachlauf stehend, der von schneebedeckten Bäumen gesäumt wird, die in fast pointilistischer Auffassung die ruhige Stimmung zum Vibrieren bringt.
Der Maler war einer der letzten der französischen Impressionisten. Werke seiner Hand im Musée Emmanuel de la Villéon, Fougères, Musée de Grenoble, Musée Fournaise, Chatou.
