Empire Ormolu-Mounted Mahogany Secrétaire à Abattant
Early 19th century
The St. Anne marble rectangular top above a frieze drawer and a fall flanked by columns, opening to a leather-lined panel and an arched mirrored recess above drawers, the projecting lower section on freestanding columns with a frieze drawer above a mirrored back over a concave plinth. Height 49 1/4 inches (125.1 cm), width 39 1/4 inches (99.6cm), depth 17 inches (43.2 cm).
