Description
Fire-gilded bronze. Rectangular marble plinth on bell-like feet on balls. Three-sided palmette frieze on the contrasting base zone of the rectangular watch case. The narrow sides slightly slanted upwards and curved. Crowning sundial (gnomon missing). White enamel dial with Roman hours and quarter-hour display with Arabic numerals. Pendulum with key lift and half-hour bell. On the right, standing next to it is the figure of Diana with a bow and arrow accompanied by a hunting dog. The dial inscribed 'Barberi á Paris'.
