Description: Geneva, No. 437, with 8-day timepiece, alarm movement, 2-inch (5 cm) Arabic dial with subsidiary alarm dial supported by columns with faceted capitals, on rectangular base of cobalt- blue starburst guilloche enamel, the top decorated with bunches of roses flanking enameled lid with stylized scene of Isle Rousseau, with going-barrel movement, automaton singing bird with moving beak, perch, wings and tail. The underside stamped with hallmarks and 437 Depose 935. Swiss Made", ht. 5 1/2 in. (14,5 cm) x 4 1/8 in. (10,5 cm), - The singing bird can be activated independently or by the alarm mechanism.
