English Civil War Helmet and Breastplate
English Civil War/ Cromwellian period breastplate and helmet. Mid-17th century. Both seem to be steel. Helmet is a lobster-tail style helmet, no neck protector. Brim is complete, and nose guard holder is present. Some oxidation, pitting, and cracking of metal. 11" by 7" by 9 1/2". Some repairs present. Breastplate is in good condition, with some pitting/oxidation. Marked "RB 137". About 16" tall, 7" deep, about 14" wide. Pins and loop for connection of back plate and gorget present.
