An early 20th century English "Galloping Cockerel" Carousel figure by Frederick Savage Co., c. 1900. Hollow body construction with carved detail, features the running figure with inset glass eyes, hinged neck, a carved comb, double-seater saddle and tail. Original Iron brackets on a modern Iron stand with Brass pole. Cleaned to original red oxide primer, some surface wear and minor damage including a few chips to comb and tail, some seam separation. Figure is 66 x 12 x 41" high, 86" high overall with pole. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000
