English Crossbanded Mahogany Sofa Table
An English string inlaid and crossbanded mahogany sofa table, first half 19th century, the frieze fitted with two genuine full depth drawers and two faux drawers to either side, the legs joined by a horizontal stretcher, ending in brass casters, together with a Regency faux rosewood painted side chair, early 19th century.
Dimensions:Height 29 1/4in; width closed 38in; width open 63in; depth 22 3/4in; height of chair 33 1/2in; width 17 1/2in; depth of seat 15 1/2in.
Condition Report: The table is structurally sound. In an overall good restored condition. The top with typical marks, wear, scuffs and Surface scratches. The horizontal stretcher appears to be later added for reinforcement. No keys. The chair is structurally sound, in overall good condition, general marks, wear, dings, abrasions and Surface scratches.
