Approximately 105 pieces total of various makes, sizes, and decoration. Lot includes one tablespoon with wild boar crest by Charles Houghman (London, 1792), one roe scoop with engraved fish and shell motif by John Gilbert (Birmingham, 1857), one dognose spoon by Benjamin Watts (London, 1705), one marrow spoon with illegible maker's mark (London, 1773), and one sugar sifter with silver-gilt bowl by John Lambe (London, 1775).
Mostly London makers. All examples marked. 127 ozt.
Condition Report: Three Newcastle, three Birmingham, six Exeter, and one later example, 1962, by Travis, Wilson, Co Ltd, Chester. Some various makers include Hester Bateman, Peter & Ann Bateman, Edward Pocock, George Wintle, Thomas Liddiard and George Smith III. Varying wear and dents commensurate with age and use. Some examples with considerably more wear. Several examples monogrammed.
