English Needlework Genre Scene

A late 18th/early 19th century English Needlework genre scene. Embroidered scene with painted detail depicts a young girl doing needlework while sitting beneath a tree, with a baby doll at her side. Very nicely done, painted details are very fine. Light wear with some discoloration and soiling to the fabric. Sight is 6 3/4 x 9 1/2" h, in a gilt and gesso frame with some losses, 12 x 14 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
