English Provincial School, early 19th Century- Portrait of Jane Holehouse, bust-length,:- with blue eyes and wearing a lace bonnet a red curtain beyond oil on canvas, 65 x 56cm, in a plain mahogany frame with moulded 'bulls-eye' to each corner. *Biography Jane Holehouse of Wirksworth, born 30th July 1776 and died July 1849 in Manchester. She married Andrew Macbeth, a tailor [1766-1829], in Wirksworth, Derbyshire in 1791.
