English Queen Anne Mahogany Sideboard
Fine late 18th early 19th century Queen Ann buffet. Fine details with shell carved legs and pierced front. Three drawers seated on four elegant queen Anne legs. Measuring approx 34" tall x 71" wide x 19" deep. Normal use and wear consistent with age, see photos. Anne was Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland between 8 March 1702 and 1 May 1707. On 1 May 1707, under the Acts of Union, the kingdoms of England and Scotland united as a single sovereign state known as Great Britain. She continued to reign as Queen of Great Britain and Ireland until her death in 1714.
