John Barry (active 1784-1827) lived in London and exhibited at the Royal Academy. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, was among his sitters, and his works are housed in various institutional collections, including the V&A. Little appears to be known about the artist E. Taylor (1780-1830) who was active between 1802 and 1830.
