Approximately 47 pieces total. Lot includes one of two William Turton stuffing spoons with scroll ends (1777), a stuffing spoon with engraved baron's crest by Thomas & William Chawner (c. 1765), a silver-gilt serving spoon by Hester Bateman (1781), a rattail tablespoon by Samuel Eaton (1764), a Britannia Standard dognose tablespoon by John Broake (1707) and a silver-gilt trefid spoon with engraved arm & cutlass (c. 1680).
All marked. 105 ozt.
Condition Report: Varying wear commensurate with age and use. Several examples monogrammed. Illegible marks to some. One example from Birmingham and another from Newcastle. Some various makers include Paul Storr, John Lambe, Henry Plumpton, Richard Crossley, Jonathan Perkins I & Jonathan Perkins II and William Eley, William Fearn & William Chawner. Includes 39 spoons of various makes, sizes and decoration, 2 forks, 2 sugar nibs, 1 sugar tong, 2 shovel salt spoons and 1 caddy spoon.
