English rosewood writing box on stand.

An English rosewood writing box on stand, circa 1860-70. Writing desk has mother of pearl foliate and silver inlay with mother of pearl escutcheon. Interior has felted writing surface with two glass inkwells. One felted section lifts up to reveal three drawers hidden behind a false panel. Rosewood stand with tapered legs and stretcher. Writing box: 6" x 17 3/4" x 9 3/4" Stand: 18" x 18 1/2" x 10 1/2".
Condition: Crack in one corner of writing box. Scratches to outside of stand. Crack across top of lid of writing box.
