English school. (XlX) - A pair of landscapes with fishermen

I am offering for auction a pair of superb 19th century oil on panels of landscapes, with fishermen. One features cattle crossing a bridge over a river with fisherman in foreground.

The paintings measure 29. 5 x 22 cm. The frames measure 44 x 36 cm.

Condition of the painting is fair. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Craquelure present. Frames have wear. Ready to hang as they are.

Please note. I am on vacation until 2nd May 2024 so all paintings will be posted as soon as I return.

Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
