ENNIO FINZI, born in Venice in 1931 and still active at the age of 93, is the author of this pastel on black cardboard, hand signed at the bottom right, measuring 305x455 mm and mounted on a beautiful wooden frame green in color, 39x54x2 cm, made in 2007 accompanied by Certificate of Archives and Authenticity on photo signed by the artist and the Scientific Committee, in truly excellent condition.

Ennio Finzi is one of the protagonists of Critical Painting and Abstract Expressionism, among the Italian painters between the 20th and 21st centuries. He trained in Venice where he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts, and exhibited at the XLII Biennale in 1986. His However, his first personal exhibition dates back to the Rome Quadrennial in 1959 and then presented again in 2000. A major retrospective in Rome and Spoleto in 2002. Exhibitions at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara and at the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art at Palazzo Forti in Verona. Other important exhibitions in the Ducal Palace of Urbino in 2005 and in Prague in 2006.
