Ennio Finzi (Venice, 1931) , one of the most important Italian abstractionists, made his debut in 1947 at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation in Venice and in the 1950s exhibited in collective exhibitions on Spatialism at Carlo Cardazzo's Galleria del Cavallino. He participated by invitation in the 1959 Quadrennial and again in the 2000 edition. In 1986 he also took part in the Venice International Art Biennale.
Considered among the Italian precursors in the field of kineticism and programmed art, since the 1950s he has been developing his research within pure visuality.
