Ensko 18th Century Style Coffee/Tea Service
A New York City silver dealer whom not only handled antique silver, but commissioned sterling like this grouping. The firm ceased operations in 1970. The 5" thick x 9 7/8" long x 5 1/2" tall teapot is a squatty bulbous body on pedestal ring, with short "s" spout and wooden handle with removable finial, All pieces have fine line engraving along the top edge. Teapot weighs 22.08 Troy ounces. The coffee pot is a tapered cylinder from 4 1/8" to 2 11/16". 8 3/8" tall with a fixed finial weighing 19.58 Troy ounces. Hot water kettle is a squatty bulbous form as the teapot, with same short "s" spout, resting on a three leg base with complete alcohol burner, wooden handle attached to large "s" shaped supports 6 1/2" thick x 8 3/4" long x 12 1/2" tall with handle extended. Item weighs 50.99 Troy ounces. 4 1/2" diameter x 2 5/8" tall waste bowl weighing 6.07 Troy ounces. 2 5/8" thick x 4" wide x 4 1/8" tall creamer weighing 6.14 Troy ounces. 4 1/8" diameter x 2 3/4" tall open sugar weighing 6.11 troy ounces.
