Condition Report: One of only two armchairs for the Leist mansion in Berlin, 1934. The other one can be seen at Museum fuer Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg. The chair, or a very similar chair, figures in the study of Mendelsohn's own house at Am Rupenhorn 6 in Berlin. Cf. Lit. Provenance: had been in the consignor's family since the 1930s. Copy of confirmation can be shown, thereafter private collection Berlin.
