Ermanno Nason - Sculpture of an oriental woman - 35 cm - Glass

Ancient and rare sculpture by Ermanno Nason in multi-shade red glass with gold applications. the applied face has a softer color . . The two jugs originally were attached with two pairs of silky red threads, but being worn out I preferred to remove them. Really very beautiful sculpture, of quality and in perfect conservation. Signature and date on the bottom: "Ermanno Nason 1956 Murano" Height measures cm. 35. From 1952 to 1957 the young Ermanno was awarded the title of "master of the first place" at the MAZZEGA glassworks.
