Second printing of the First Edition with "1928" imprinted on the title page [the 1st printing was issued in 1927], copyright 1927, Scribner's colophon without 'A' as issued, no printings stated, broken "3" on page 3. Hemingway's second collection of stories, published the year after the success of "The Sun Also Rises". The subject matter of the stories in the collection includes bullfighting, prizefighting, infidelity, divorce, and death. "The Killers", "Hills Like White Elephants", and "In Another Country" are considered to be among Hemingway's better works.

Macy & Co. Inc.’ is blind stamped on top of the title page; 232 pages, very good condition.
