Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915) Rencontre, Pair

A pair of bronzed spelter metal figures after Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915, France). Both titled "Rencontre" (French translation: Meeting, Encounter). The female figure holds a basket containing a chicken, while the male figure holds his hat in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. Mounted on wood bases with brass title plaque attached. Overall, 15.5" high, 6" wide, 6" deep.
