The work presented tells a scene painted “au plein air”, with a photographic plane. When talking about the photographic plane, it is emphasized that the work does not maintain a classic or central composition, but is continuous, has no closure and does not attempt to dramatize a scene.
The trees are painted from a lower plane. Their reflection rests on a river that separates the earth into two parts. The river has the function of giving depth and tracking to the viewer's eyes.
The brush stroke is free and does not follow any type of grid line. In turn, natural scenes are another indicator of the impressionist influence.
