Ettore Sottsass (Italian, 1917-2007) for Bitossi Ceramiche, Glazed Ceramic Totem Miniatures Ca. 1980s, H 18.25" to 21" 5 pcs | Five totem miniatures. Each constructed with glazed ceramic pieces in varying colors held together with central metal rods. Each inscribed on the undersides "E. Sottsass - Bitossi Montelupo - Italy" with Bitossi Ceramiche sticker labels. Smallest totem having a height of 18.25" and the largest having a height of 21". Provenance: Property from a Bloomfield Township, MI private collection.
Condition Report: Two hairline cracks at one of the thin ceramic disks of one totem (green disk, second from the bottom of the totem with the large yellow piece near the top). All other pieces are in good condition with no other cracks, breaks or chips. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
