A large and triumphant sculpture depicting a knight on horseback. The knight wears armour and is armed with a sword and crossbow, an impressive scene. The work is beautifully detailed and was made by sculptor Eugène Laurent (1832-1898) . Made of zinc/régule and provided with a bronze-coloured warm patina. Mounted on a wooden pedestal. The patina is slightly worn on a few spots and the feather on the helmet has slack. Otherwise in good condition, the photos speak for themselves. A decorative and graceful sculpture.
