Eugene Lejeune Portrait of a Young Maiden Painting

Depicts a young woman dressed in red feeding two lambs at her sides. Lejeune studied painting in the studio of Paul Delaroche (1797-1856) and Charles Gleyr (1806-1874) exhibiting his work at the Salon in 1845.
