Eugène Marioton (1854-1933) - Sculpture of lady with tambourine 'La Gitane' - Bronze - about 1900

A beautiful sculpture of a lady in draped attire standing at a rock party. The lady has a tambourine in her hand and the sculpture is titled 'La Gitane' (the gypsy) . It is fine in detail and with great craftsmanship manufactured by sculptor Eugène Marioton (1854-1933) . It comes from France and dates from around 1900. Details: Height: 44 cm. Width: 13 cm. Depth: 12 cm. Weight: 8 kg. It is signed 'Marioton' and numbered '919'. It is also signed again but this is difficult to read. It only has some minor imperfections and is in good condition.
