Eugenio Rossi (XIX-XX) - Sculpture, Ragazzo su piedistallo - 49 cm - Bronze, Marble

Large bronze statue of a boy on a marble pedestal. Made at the end of the 19th century from a model by the sculptor Eugenio Rossi. (metal signature on the back)
The sculpture is a rare and perhaps unique piece, little or nothing reproduced, little is known about the sculptor, who was born in the mid-19th century and died in the early 1900s. Evidence shows that two of his works are in the museum of Villa Pignatelli in Naples.
The height is approximately 49 cm with the beautiful yellow marble base from the same period.
Good condition, minimal traces of time and wear.

The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box, given the weight of over 18 kg the shipping cost for some countries is higher.
