European Blown Glass Ornaments Set
A large group of hand-blown glass Christmas ornaments and festive decorations of European origin. The collection features a varied assortment of forms and decorative finishes typical of mid-20th-century production. Included is a set of six spherical ornaments presented in their original retail packaging. The red and white cardboard box features a circular logo with a depiction of Santa Claus and the text Santa's World. The box is printed with the phrases CONTENTS 6 HAND-MADE GLASS BALLS and MADE BY THE FINEST CRAFTSMEN OF EUROPE. These ornaments are finished in a reflective teal color with horizontal bands of silver, red, white, and green. The collection also contains twelve frosted cream glass spheres arranged in clear plastic trays. Six of these are decorated with silver glittered blue shamrocks and green leaves. The remaining six feature multi-colored floral star patterns in red, blue, and yellow with silver glitter outlines. Several of these ornaments have metal hanging caps stamped with the characters W.
