European School oil on canvas still life painting depicting an arrangement of grapes and other fruits with leaves, a goblet, and a pitcher arranged on a wooden table with a white tablecloth against a brown background. Signed and dated "R. Eckardt 1903 (or 1908)," lower right. Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight: 24 1/2" H x 34 1/2" W. Framed: 28 3/4" H x 39" W. Provenance: The Estate of Camille Gift, Nashville, Tennessee by descent from Sara Joan Wilde (1923-2014), Colorado Springs, CO.
Condition Report: Painting overall good condition with craquelure. Frame with remnants of clear packing tape, largest 2 3/4" x 2", areas of loss, largest 1" x 3/4", to gilt, and some shrinkage.
