It represents the moment when the kings, accompanied by a large procession, present their gifts to the baby Jesus. He, in his mother's arms, seems to play with the incense that Gaspar, kneeling before him, presents to him. This work focuses on the main characters, leaving part of the procession out of the picture. The scene takes place at night, which enhances the brilliance of the brocades, silks, jewels and gold bottles. . . .
